7.  Bears with others their burdens and tough life situations, not thinking of themselves as better than others, but being a help to them (Matthew 5:5). They must hold up under the weight of disappointment, loss, attack, slander, defense (Matthew 18:21-22; Romans 15:1). By doing so, we fulfill the law of Christ (Galations6:2).
8.  Prepares for the ordinances of the baptism and the Lord’s Supper. Be ready for these times spiritually, mentally, physically, and emotionally. Do not come unprepared or with an apathetic attitude (1 Corinthians 11: 27-34),
9.  Supports the work of the ministry through your resources, time, and
abilities. Each of us has different gifts that we can use to make the church stronger (Romans 12:6-8) as well contributing monetarily to the overall work of the work to make disciples in our community as well as globally through missions (2 Corinthians 8-9)

One more thought: Some churches have an annual covenant membership. You renew your membership each year. You either choose to renew your membership or not renew your membership for that year. You may renew in the next year if you so desire when the renewal period opens again.
